The Special Course on Information Design addresses the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to use data as a storytelling tool that will help navigate facts and figures. It intends to equip the learners with the necessary skills to use various tools to design interactions that are easy to understand. will provide the participants with opportunities to develop their skills in defining, planning, designing, or shaping the contents of a message.

At the end of the training, the participants can:

● Demonstrate in-depth knowledge about the principles, processes, and techniques in information design by creating information and interface design outcomes in a visual communication context;

● Develop SEC’s institutional branding and utilize the same in producing information and interface design solutions in response to a project or matter at hand;

● Interpret data and information to generate highly resolved graphic outcomes and communicate content as visual explanations and narratives using software packages and techniques (i.e., Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, MS Office, etc.); and

● Demonstrate the SEC Core Values of integrity, professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and independence in performing their tasks and responsibilities in information design and dissemination.
